बछौर
उत्तर बिहार की देसी भारवाहक नस्ल, जिसका नाम सीतामढ़ी के बछौर क्षेत्र पर पड़ा। यह हरियाणा नस्ल से मिलती-जुलती है और अथक बैलों के लिए स्थानीय रूप से बहुत मूल्यवान है।

- रंग: धूसर से सफ़ेद; नर में आगे और पीछे के भाग पर गहरा धूसर
- सुगठित मध्यम शरीर, मज़बूत और सधे हुए पैर
- सिर के किनारों से निकलते छोटे सींग
