भैंस की नस्लें

भारत के कुल दूध का लगभग आधा हिस्सा भैंस से आता है। भैंस के दूध में वसा और ठोस तत्व गाय के दूध से कहीं अधिक होते हैं, इसलिए घी, खोया, पनीर और दही के लिए यह पहली पसंद है।
